Watermarquee started as a WordPress plugin for protecting listing photos. Today it's a full web app — watermarking, brand kits, AI alt text, background removal, short-form video — all built around one idea: images deserve more care than they usually get.
Why we built it
Sellers were getting their product photos scraped within hours of posting. Photographers were sending un-watermarked proofs and watching them appear on social before the invoice was paid. Creators were skipping alt text and losing free search traffic. The pattern: image work is everywhere, but the tools are scattered across Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva, an SEO plugin, and a watermark utility no one updates anymore.
Watermarquee folds the parts you actually use — watermark, brand kit, AI tagging, batch export — into one screen, and charges what it should: free for one image, $9.99 a month when you need more.
What we won't do
- We don't post for you, repost for you, or touch your social accounts.
- We don't upload your originals anywhere on Free — watermarking happens in the browser.
- We don't train models on your photos. Uploads on Plus AI tools are deleted after processing.
- We don't bundle five products you'll never use into one bill.
